Executive update: leadership changes at Morrow
Dr. Andreas Maier, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Morrow Batteries ASA (“Morrow”), will return home to his family in South Korea in late April after nearly four years in Arendal, Norway. Since 2021, he has led the establishment of the Morrow Cell Factory (MCF) and advanced the Company's industrialisation strategy.
Dr. Maier will remain engaged with Morrow as a special advisor, assisting the MCF team and Board of Directors to facilitate a smooth transition ahead of Q3 2025 commercial production.
Frode Bergland Bjørnstad will join Morrow Batteries as EVP Legal & Compliance on June 1. He brings over 20 years of international expertise in governance, M&A, IP, and regulatory compliance from roles including Chief Legal Officer at Avida Finans. His leadership will be instrumental as Morrow scales production and advances its battery technologies.
